Hey Friends, I was so excited to be a part of this event, Blingin’ Up the Tata’s Event for Breast Cancer Awareness! Let me tell you there was some amazingly creative talent showcased (Check out their videos HERE)! Kris Hunter and I worked with so many talented creators to host an event to highlight Breast Cancer Awareness. 100% of the Donations and the auction of the finished products from this event went to The Susan G Koman Foundation. So Glue Gun in hand and a pile of rhinestones in the other I got to work!
To recreate this look you’ll need:

I chose a Phoenix as my inspiration for this project because these survivors have risen from the ashes like a Phoenix and are truly incredible and so strong and awe-inspiring. If you want to watch the Live video where I make this project check it out HERE.

How to:
I started of with placing my bra onto a dress makers form, if you don’t have one that is OK. You can use a pillow and material to stuff the bra cups to help keep a full shape. This will make it easier for you during the application process.
Starting in the center of the bra and work your way out, place the first piece, this Rhinestone Applique (Get it HERE). Firstly start by placing hot glue down onto the center of the bra and following the cup curves. Make sure to use plenty of hot glue to adhere both surfaces together.

For the next step I started with the straps. Take your hot glue and follow the straps up to the top of the shoulder and take this Rhinestone Trim (Get them HERE) and adhere it to the front half. Follow the strap with hot glue down the back half of and finished adhering the trim. The reason for doing this in two steps is to make sure that your glue remain sticky and hot enough to hold the rhinestones.
Time for the trim, for this step I used a Rhinestone Fringe (Get it HERE). I absolutely loved how this trim looked, for my vision I did have to cut the trim to fit using wire snips. Next use hot glue along the bottom of the bra up to the side seam, then add the fringe along the glue line, pressing firmly to ensure good adhesion. Do this step to both sides of the bra.
Not wanting to waste the fabulous leftover applique from the first step, I decided to use it for the bottom cups of the bra. Use your hot glue and apply the applique mesh to the bottom cups of the bra, pressing firmly to ensure good adhesion.
Fill in the bra cups with the flat backed jewels, I used Red (Get them HERE), Yellow (Get them HERE), and Orange (Get them HERE). Use plenty of hot glue and pressure to apply them to your bra cups. This step you can play around with how you would like to color combinations to sit. Fill in any blank spots with your rhinestones.
I had so much fun creating this project and am so thankful for all of your donations and bidding during this event, all the proceeds went to a great cause! Thank you so much for joining me on this fun adventure and I cannot wait to share my next project with you!
