directions
I started with this plain white bunny from Hobby Lobby and my favorite floral transfer from Re-Design with Prima.

I cut the transfer to the size of the flat part of the bunny and then eyeballed it to where I wanted it! Remove the backing from the transfer and lay it down on your bunny!

Once you have it pressed down, take the little wood stick that comes with your transfer and give it a good rubdown! Make sure to get into all the crevices and nooks and crannies if your piece is not completely flat (like this bunny)!!

Slowly start peeling back the plastic transfer, making sure to work slowly and if you see something that has not set just give it another rub with your tool! Some parts like to stick better than others but just keep pressing as you go! The magic happens…trust me! 🙂

it’s sparkle time
Once your get all the transfers on your rabbit take a small brush and dip it in some Mod Podge. I prefer Mod Podge matte medium when diamond dusting but a gloss medium will even work! Brush the Mod Podge all over your bunny. I did one side at a time because you do not want to apply your diamond dust on dried Mod Podge!

Once you get your Mod Podge applied and it still is wet whip out your Diamond Dust and sprinke it all over the wet Mod Podge. I like to transfer my Diamond Dust into a shaker for better control and I use an old Italian Seasoning shaker that I cleaned out and it works perfectly! Your rabbit will be a bit milky or cloudy looking at first but don’t worry this is totally normal and once the Mod Podge dries it will be completely clear!!

While I was waiting for it to dry I then hot glued a cute lacy messy bow that I had laying around to the neck area and then attached a sparkled bling brooch from Totally Dazzled. It softened it up and gave it a romantic shabby feel which is perfect for Spring!

The next morning it was completely crystal clear and dried but do be careful when handling it as Diamond Dust is actual shards of ground up glass!!! I love how it turned out and with all the amazing Prima transfers out there the combinations of what you can do are endless!

Tell me your thoughts in the comments! I think this DIY Sparkle Easter Decoration turned out adorable! Product links for Diamond Dust below!

I love your transfers, but cannot seem to find them when I go to the website. I love the ones with roses. You used one on a brown square box that had a beautiful stencil on it. I cannot find that pattern. I also saw one on this page that you used on a bunny. When I clicked on the link, it didn’t open. Just wondering where I can possible get some. Thank you.
