Spring is just around the corner and I cannot wait to add fun pops of it around my home. This week we worked on creating this adorable Easter wall Décor. Can you believe Easter is almost upon us?
I created this piece over two live videos on Facebook, you can catch them HERE and HERE. If you too, are ready to get a little spring on your walls then roll up those sleeves with me and let’s get started!
You’ll need:
- Wood frame scroll style canvas (Hobby Lobby)
- Color Wash Tint (Hobby Lobby)
- Mod Podge
- Diamond Dust (Get it HERE)
- Hot Glue (Get it HERE) & Hot Glue Gun
- Fake flowers and greenery
- Stuffed Bunnies décor (Dollar Store)
- Crown (Get it HERE)
- 1 inch wood beads for frame (Get them HERE)
- Dazzled Bling (crowns and bows) (Get yours HERE)
- Paint Brush or sponge brush for Mod Podge
- Mackenzie Child napkins
- Heat Gun (Get it HERE) optional
- E6000 if needed
- Bees, Butterflies, Dragonflies and mini fence all from Hobby Lobby
- Wood cutout Easter Sign (Hobby Lobby)

Let’s get started
First you are going to start with your canvas scroll. This one was from Hobby Lobby and had a wood frame on the top and bottom. Next lightly sand the wood and paint on the Color Wash Tint and wipe away any excess. This dries fairly quickly on its own, feel free to use your heat gun to speed up the process if you need.

Fancy Frame
Remember the wooden beads from our “Upgraded Printed Art” project? We are going to use them to fancy up the frame on this project too. Simply glue them to the top and bottom of your frame with your hot glue.

Fun Foliage
Start by getting your faux plants and flowers and taking them apart. For this project I started with the greenery and hot glued it to the bottom of the canvas. I really wanted a full leafy look for this project so I made sure to fill the gaps.

Bring the Sparkle
The next steps are completely optional, feel free to decorate how you would like. First I
took the little carrots and painted them with the Mod podge. Next I added Diamond Dust all over the carrot, then simply glue the carrots down amongst the foliage.

Decopodge with napkins
First thing your are going to do is remove the unprinted layers from the napkin. (Quick Tip: Place a little tape on the unprinted side to easily remove the layer, then repeat on each layer)
Next, take your Mod Podge and apply over the entire canvas. Line up your napkin and place gently, smooth out using a little pit of parchment paper.

Next I added a little fence that I found in the Fairy section of Hobby Lobby. To make it not so white I aged it a little with some metallic dark paint.

More bling, because why not?
First we will add the little bunnies and glue them down.
Ya’ll know I cannot just let them stay plain so let’s bling them up! First I glued down little crowns and bows on the bunnies, these were purchased via Dazzled Bling (Keep in mind the tiny crowns are a promo item with $30 purchase)
Next I added Mod Podge in the bunny ears and of course added Diamond Dust.

Adding the extras
For this next step I added the little bees, dragonflies, butterflies in the foliage and open spaces on my canvas. Next I also made sure to add the wooden cutout onto the canvas with hot glue, then painted it white to make it stand out.
Finally I took some faux baby’s breath flowers and added it to my foliage with hot glue.

There you have it, Sparkle Chicks, the most adorable wall art. This Easter Wall Décor will look so cute on the front door or even the wall. I had so much fun making this project with you, I would love to see your version of this! Thanks for spending some time with me, until next time!
