LEt’s get started!
Lets begin by taking our bunny cutout and removing the old tail and bow. Make sure to have the surface clean of any debris, this will help when you stencil.

Stencil Time
Start by laying your stencil flat and centered. dab on your black paint over the stencil in a stippling motion. (to prevent bleeding use less paint and do a few layers) Next make sure to grab your heat gun and dry your black paint, your don’t want smearing everywhere.

Liquid Gold
This bunny cut out had an engraved “Happy Easter”, to make it stand out we used liquid gold. Taking a fine tipped brush, dip into the liquid gold and slowly go along the engraved bits. Take you time and try and keep this step as tidy as possible. Once finished, take your heat gun and dry again.

The Tail of it
No bunny is complete without a sweet little cotton tail!
Begin by taking your boa and hot glue it down, Go slowly and build up that tail until its round and fluffy. Tip: use something to protect your fingers, that glue can get really hot!

A Totally Dazzled Frame
No décor of mine could be complete without some bling! I used Totally Dazzled Bling Wrap here to make this frame really pop!
Start by trimming your bling wrap to the sizes you’ll need. You will have to do this in a few pieces, which is OK! Slowly line up your bling wrap and hot glue it down to the frame. trim and maneuver as needed. Personally I did not worry about the bottom of the frame as that will be covered by foliage.

Next, take the little wooden blocks and place them on your frame where your bunny cutout will sit. This will make the cutout be more three dimensional.
Once you are satisfied with the placement glue the blocks to the frame, then the bunny to the blocks. Press firmly to ensure good adhesion.

More bling
Start by coving your bunny in a layer of Mod Podge.(I use matte, but feel free to use whatever you have on hand)
Next, while the Mod Podge is still wet sprinkle on your diamond dust all over, making sure to coat well. Finally dump off the excess, your Mod Podge will look cloudy still, I promise it dries clear.

Decorate your frame
Start by taking your foliage and flowers and filing in the bottom of your frame. This is up to your creative imagination. Next, I added some of the boa around the bunnies neck and a Dazzled Bling Broach.
Finally, I added more foliage, some carrots and a Dazzled Bling butterfly to the top of the frame.

There you have it Sparkle Chicks, a sweet little spring décor addition. I cannot wait to see what you all come up with, so don’t forget to share and tag me in your creations.
